Liverpool City Centre's Zeus Taverna Launches Drink Collections For Special Events, Starting With Valentine’s Day Earlier This Month

Zeus Taverna opened its doors less than a year ago, in April 2025, on the bustling foodie hotspot of Castle Street, in the heart of Liverpool City Centre.

The Greek restaurant brings a taste of the sun-kissed Mediterranean to the Liverpool City Region.

Thursday the 12th of February marked the launch of the Zeus Valentine’s Cocktail Menu. An intimate evening of limited-edition drinks, curated canapés, live DJ and percussion.

The venue has seen rave reviews and become a favourite across the hospitality scene in the City since opening its doors.

Inspired by the popular holiday island of Santorini, Zeus Taverna features textured whitewashed walls framed by turquoise blues creating the feel of a traditional Greek taverna.

Along with a menu of tapas and small plates with favourite dishes like souvlaki, moussaka and kleftiko, and appetisers such as tzatziki and dolmades..

The event was attended by over 50 guests who enjoyed the new cocktail range:

• Galentines ( Lychee, Floral Flavours, Lime Juice )

• Aphrodisiac ( Cachaca, Coconut, Peach Foam )

• Tropical Heartthrob ( White Rum, Passionfruit Liqueur, Guava Juice )

• Romeo ( Whiskey Base with a Hazelnut Twist )

A spokesperson for Zeus Taverna, said: “The energy in the room on the launch night was fantastic and the response to our carefully curated new cocktail menu was exceptional. We have really enjoyed getting to know our customers in our first year on Castle Street and we aim to constantly update and enhance our services here at Zeus.
