Liverpool is the running to be the Host City for the 67th Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine.

The announcement will take place from 7pm on BBC One's The One Show, with revelation being revealed by none other than Graham Norton.

The Liverpool City Region has been Shortlisted into the Final Two alongside Glasgow out of the initial Seven UK Cities including Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and Birmingam.

Known as the 'World Capital City of Pop' and a Twin City for Ukrainian City, Odesa, many believe Liverpool would be the perfect choice to Host Eurovision 2023. Not to mention the Liverpool won European Capital Of Culture in 2008!

Liverpool is also a UNESCO City Of Music, exemplifying the level of quality that the Liverpool City Region has to offer.
