This Summer, The Ivy Collection is inviting guests to embrace the season’s biggest lifestyle trend with the launch of its new Golden Summer Menu, a limited-time menu inspired by the leisurely lunches, Mediterranean flavours and relaxed dining rituals synonymous with a European Summer.

Launching across participating restaurants nationwide, the menu has been designed to be the perfect choice for leisurely lunches in the sunshine with friends and family, bringing together some of Europe's most-loved flavours from just £19.95 for two courses.

The launch comes as new research commissioned by The Ivy Collection reveals that Britons are increasingly embracing the slower pace and simple pleasures associated with a Euro Summer. More than seven in ten (71%) say small moments of escapism throughout the summer are just as important as taking a holiday abroad, while 58% believe sharing a leisurely meal with family and friends is one of the defining pleasures of a European summer. More than half (57%) also say dining outdoors instantly makes them feel like they're on holiday.

Inspired by these rituals, the Golden Summer Menu takes diners on a culinary journey through Europe. Guests can begin with Rabbit Croquettes served with a French mustard sauce, Golden Fried Calamari with chilli and lime crème fraiche or the Heirloom Tomato with Watermelon; a salad served with plant-based cream and topped with toasted pistachios and Nocellara olives.

"A European Summer has never just been about the destination, it's about the feeling. It's the long lunches that become afternoons, dining outdoors in the sunshine and taking time to enjoy great food with the people around you." - Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection.

For mains, the selection includes a golden Brioche-crumbed Chicken Escalope, pan-fried and topped with shaved Grana Padano, sharp capers and a citrus crème fraiche, charred Cypriot Halloumi on a bed of warm coral lentils, toasted pine nuts and a vibrant salsa verde, Chilli and Sesame Glazed Aubergine served with steamed rice, coriander and avocado, or the Tranche Steak and Chips accompanied by a classic French peppercorn sauce and fresh, peppery watercress, for a £6.95 supplement.

Desserts continue the journey with a silky Crème Brûlée au Vanille served with buttery shortbread biscuits, the light and cooling Iced Berries and Hot White Chocolate, accompanied by a refreshing yoghurt ice cream and torn lemon balm, or Mediterranean Gold, a vibrant combination of coconut, passion fruit and mango encased in a crisp chocolate shell inspired by golden sunsets over the Mediterranean.

For those looking to linger a little longer over lunch, the menu is perfectly paired with the exclusive Champagne Colada, a bright, tropical blend of Santiago de Cuba Carta Blanca Rum, pineapple, mango, coconut and lime, topped with The Ivy Champagne and finished with edible gold. Inspired by carefree summer afternoons, it's the perfect toast to the season.
