One of Sound City's missions is to bring up-and-coming artists to new audiences at beloved independent cultural venues that will be cherished for years to come, something it is exceptionally successful at.

Greater Manchester's presence at The Arts Club was palpable with the City of Manchester's IST IST, and The Guest List, with Bolton's Florentenes, and the Mancunian band, M60, with its members hailing from a number of boroughs across the county.

The downstairs Victorian Theatre hosted a wealth of acts including Irish quartet, Florence Road, who brought their indie rock vibes into the venue.

Ruby J, from the Midlands, and London-based Grace Gachot, performed on the upstairs stage of The Arts Club. This element of the venue is the Liverpudlian equivalent of a Manhattan-style Club Loft, and a complementary counterpart to the theatrical stage downstairs.
