Tempest on Tithebarn recently celebrated its 2 week anniversary, which I coincidentally visited on for a review of the Noon Menu.

After discussing with Iain and his array of attentive colleagues about which items on the Noon Menu I should order, I went for the 'Brekkie Bagel'. Which comprises of a generous selection of sausage, bacon, egg and served with baked beans.

I was also highly advised to give a side of their fries a go. Which I did, and was delighted with.

The food was a fantastic amalgamation of flavours that blended together so well, and the seeded bagel only enhanced that.

I was exceptionally tempted with the entire selection of food available, from the bagels to the burgers and their fabulous fillings. Next time I am absolutely having to get The Vegan Burger, which consists of a homemade falafel burger on a toasted ciabatta roll.

Something Tempest on Tithebarn likes to focus on is supporting independents, this includes both in the locale and further afield and giving them brand awareness in parts of the country that might otherwise might be missed. Tempest on Tithebarn owner, Iain Hoskins, selected Siren Craft Beer as the venues craft partner. Which they have specially delivered from the quaint market town of Wokingham up to here in Liverpool.

If I wasn't already well tended to by Iain and the team enough, I was then offered the cocktails selection and delighted is how I felt. The 'Tempest Cocktail' is what I chose out of the wonderfully wide selection of drink offering.

It's their signature cocktail that combines raspberry vodka, cassis liqueur and lemon juice. Topped with crushed ice and prosecco. It was delightfully refreshing and didn't feel too heavy either.

Though, I felt I could have had a few more quite easily. They're perfect for brunch, a light lunch or a night out. Not to mention other fantastic cocktail offerings including the New York Sour & the Blood Orange Cosmo.

You can also listen to my interview with owner, Iain Hoskins, in which we chat about how the opening few weeks have gone, his personal recommendations for what food & drinks would be a great choice for a variety of occasions, as well as how the rooftop beehives cultivate their honey with the pollen from Sefton Park that they use in some of their meals and mix into some of their cocktails.
