This weekend saw The Adventurer’s Attic open in Birkenhead Town Centre, as a fully independent, dedicated tabletop & wargaming shop.

Owner, Bobby Evans, has been working for the last two years towards making this dream a reality, and receiving support from The King's Trust.

The Adventurer’s Attic was previously located in the literal attic of the vintage video game and collectables shop, Trade & Play, located just around the corner in The Grange Shopping Centre in Birkenhead.

The move has enabled Bobby to expand his stock offering and allow for guests to book out more spaces to play on the tabletop. The new venue features an extensive floorspace and spans a number of additional rooms which will enable plenty of room for growth within the standalone shop.

This move has also enabled Trade & Play to expand upstairs with further video game and entertainment collectables now being available in the former Attic space.

Bobby's new venture also furthers Birkenhead's position as a tabletop gaming and retro entertainment cluster, with a solid handful of related independent venues making the area worth a trip for anyone wishing to travel.

The opening weekend welcomed cosplayers from the likes of Zelda, Nurse Joy, Dark Magician Girl, and several Cadian Shock Troopers from Warhammer 40,000.
