Against a backdrop of UK menu prices rising, with data suggesting in January that they would rise by 28% this year, premium Italian restaurant Piccolino has done something that many would believe is unthinkable, they have made some of its most indulgent dishes, featuring lobster, wagyu and gamberoni, available for just £25 for two courses over the weekend.

The new Estivo Weekend Menu lets diners enjoy two courses of the finest Italian cuisine for less on a weekend, with no sacrifice on the impeccable quality and authenticity Piccolino is known for.

The menu features dishes from the à la carte for up to 56% less on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, making a night out the new night in. This is calculated based on Bruschetta Gamberoni Starter costing £15, and the Tonnarelli Lobster Main costing £42, totalling £57 on the a la carte menu, compared to £25 Estivo Menu.

Estivo captures the perfect Italian summer holiday, without the flight and the price tag, with dishes on the menu such as Tonnarelli Lobster, the infamous 25-layer Lasagne al Wagyu , Bruschetta Gamberoni, Mafalde al Ragu made with 24 hour slow-cooked beef shin ragu and Pollo alla Griglio – a marinated and chargrilled half chicken.

Guests can enjoy two courses for £25 on the Estivo menu (the Weekend Estivo Menu is available at selected locations, with menu items varying per location), choosing from a selection of luxurious starters and mains. Starters include popular dishes such as Arancini, Calamari Peroni Grigliati and Bruschetta Gamberoni and Classica.

When it comes to mains, Piccolino have included some of their most popular dishes; from the Lasagne al Wagyu and classics such as Tonnarelli Carbonara and Pizza Diavola to pan-fried Branzino and Tonnarelli Lobster to name a few.

Available on Sundays only, guests can also choose from Piccolino’s succulent Sunday Roast menu; with herb roasted chicken, roasted beef rump and the vegano nut roast available now, with traditional Italian Porchetta being served throughout Autumn and Winter. Served with all of the trimmings; Garlic & Rosemary Roast Potatoes, Roast Butternut Squash, Cavolo Nero, Roasting Gravy and Yorkshire Puddings.

Available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at selected Piccolino restaurants, Estivo offers diners the best of Italian cuisine, alongside the restaurant’s specially curated wine and cocktail selection.

Andrew Garton, CEO of Individual Restaurants, said: “With the launch of Weekend Estivo, we are breaking all of the rules; we are offering diners the chance to enjoy the finest ingredients and most indulgent of Italian cuisine for less at the weekends when it’s harder than ever to find really great quality food for a great price.

Andrew added: We’re excited to offer our signature dishes to guests at our restaurants to enjoy over the weekend and look forward to welcoming everyone to try it out.”
