This winter promises unforgettable moments for families, friends and Christmas shoppers alike, with a packed programme of free events, spectacular decorations and community celebrations throughout November and December.

Christmas Lights & Decorations

• Friday 7 November - Sunday 4 January.

• FREE.

The holiday spirit arrives as Liverpool ONE lights up with Christmas magic. Visitors can enjoy stunning seasonal displays, featuring a magnificent 25-metre-tall Christmas tree on Chavasse Park, a giant bauble on Paradise Street, sparkling reindeer and twinkling lights throughout the destination.

This marks the official start of the festive season at Liverpool ONE – a highlight for visitors looking to experience the city at its most enchanting. 

Christmas Toy Parade 

• Saturday 15 November.

• FREE.

Dancing toys, glittering decorations and shimmering lights will fill the streets as Liverpool ONE stages its first-ever Toy Parade to kick off the Christmas countdown.

More than 100 children will take centre stage in this magical celebration, with a special appearance from children and young adults from Claire House Children's Hospice – Liverpool ONE's Charity of the Year.

Created and produced by outdoor arts specialists Walk the Plank, the parade will bring toy soldiers, a robot, a larger-than-life Christmas tree and a sugar plum fairy to life, delighting crowds with colour, movement and festive magic.

Children from Claire House will showcase handmade props and decorations created especially for the occasion, celebrating the imagination and spirit of the children supported by the hospice.

Claire House provides specialist care and support to seriously and terminally ill babies, children and young adults from across the region, offering end-of-life care and vital respite and comfort to families during their most challenging times.

Christmas on the Park

• Friday 7 November – Wednesday 31 December.

• Chavasse Park.

Christmas on the Park brings a selection of children's rides, festive games, food, treats and more to Chavasse Park. Perfect for families with younger children to enjoy a festive fun experience right in the heart of Liverpool ONE.

Magical Thursday Evenings 

• Every Thursday from 20 November -18 December.

• FREE.

Thursday evenings come alive with magical moments in the run up to Christmas. Highlights include giant illuminated penguins, carol-oke sessions, pass the parcel and festive surprises for visitors of all ages. Each Thursday offers unforgettable festive experiences for the whole family.

Bar Hütte at Liverpool ONE

• Saturday 8 November – Wednesday 31 December.

Bar Hütte returns to transform Chavasse Park into a magical Christmas destination, nestled beneath the iconic 25-metre Christmas tree.

This much-loved festive favourite offers eight Cosy Karaoke Hüttes for festive sing-alongs, an exclusive VIP party lodge for larger groups, a lively alpine bar atmosphere and seasonal drinks including signature ski-shots and Bombardinos. Bark Hütte also returns for four-legged friends, complete with complimentary treats and photo props.

Open from midday with plenty of seating under the tree, Bar Hütte is the perfect retreat for Christmas shoppers in need of a mulled wine break.

The festive events programme includes traditional Christmas wreath-making workshops, live music from local musicians and DJs, and the Santa Claus Club where little ones can meet Father Christmas. New for this year, the free Festive After School Club runs every Tuesday during term time from 3:30pm, featuring Christmas colouring and free 'Carol-Oke' for kids.

Dog owners can bring their four-legged friends to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Christmas Trail

The popular Christmas Trail returns, creating a fun adventure around Liverpool ONE's decorations and shop windows.

This interactive journey takes families on a magical quest discovering festive characters across the destination, complete with riddles and games for youngsters to enjoy. Perfect for keeping little ones entertained while Christmas shopping.
