BARNACLE in Duke Street Market were absolutely delighted when global superstar DJ Calvin Harris dined with his team after his performance at Creamfields last weekend.

'It was a huge honour to welcome him [Calvin Harris] and give him the real Scouse brasserie experience' - Chef Paul Askew, BARNACLE.

BARNACLE's unique vision is an intimate Scouse brasserie set in the beautiful mezzanine at Duke Street Market in The East Village neighbourhood of Liverpool City Centre.

Chef Paul Askew, said: 'It was a huge honour to welcome him [Calvin Harris] and give him the real Scouse brasserie experience - and needless to say, Calvin and his crew left properly sated.'

Paul added: 'He was a proper gent and hopefully he will return to Barnacle next time he’s in Liverpool.'

The Michelin Star Restaurant's menus feature modern dishes, bar snacks and beverages inspired by the locality’s producers, farmers and artisans to ingredients linked to the Port’s bustling trade over the decades.
