For Mother’s Day, The Watering Can has everything in place to treat the most important woman in your life to a truly memorable dining experience, set within the beautiful picturesque surroundings of Greenbank Park.


Liverpool’s much-loved café bistro is marking Mothering Sunday with two specially curated dining experiences, “Breakfast in Bloom” and “Lunch in Style”, both thoughtfully designed to celebrate Mums with exceptional food, fizz and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

'Breakfast in Bloom'

Celebrations begin in the morning with a three-course set breakfast available from 9am-11:45am priced at £35 per person.


Guests will be welcomed with a champagne cocktail on arrival, choosing from a Kir Royale or Elderflower Spritz, followed by homemade pastries, a freshly cooked breakfast, sweet treats, and tea and coffee. Breakfast options include a Full English, Vegetarian, or Vegan Breakfast, all freshly prepared to order using the finest quality ingredients.

'Lunch in Style'

For those opting for a longer afternoon of celebration the lunch package offers a spectacular four-course menu for £49 per person available from 1pm-5pm, complete with fizz on arrival and live music.


Guests will enjoy a selection of snacks before indulging in a menu showcasing seasonal flavours. Starters include Chicken Tikka Skewers, Wild Mushroom Parfait, IPA Cheese Fondue, or Homemade Beetroot Hummus.


Main courses feature Pan-Fried Line-Caught Seabass, Goosnargh Chicken Supreme, or a rich, slow-cooked Boeuf Bourguignon. Desserts, all created by The Watering Can’s in-house bakers, include Lemon Posset, Chocolate Ganache Tart, or a Vegan Apple Crumble.

Enhancing the experience, Mother’s Day lunch will be accompanied by live music from Berian Miles, whose repertoire of modern and contemporary classics will create a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere throughout the afternoon with sets from 2pm-5pm.
