Since opening earlier in the summer Hoggins at the Park has been a welcome addition to the Ropewalks bar scene in Liverpool City Centre.

A small intimate, partly open-air venue that has heaters at each table, the site is a breath of fresh air from the style of other venues in the area.

A long-standing favourite on the city’s outskirts, Hoggins, made a bold and exciting move onto Seel Street this 4th July into the vibrant centre of Liverpool’s nightlife. The original site, based in Old Swan, is known for its warm atmosphere and relaxed Irish charm. ‘Hoggins at the Park’ brings something new to the popular nightlife strip.

Now, as the thousands of students look to flock back to Liverpool this month, the owners have extended the license from the original midnight to 3am. This is in line with other venues also on Seel Street.

“We are pleased to announce we now have a later license at Hoggins at the Park [until 3am].” - Calum, the General Manager for Hoggins At The Park.

Calum, the General Manager for Hoggins At The Park, said: “We are pleased to announce we now have a later license at Hoggins at the Park. With this now in place we can now plan for new events and promotions at the site. We will be kicking this off with ‘Freshers WTF Week’ from Thursday the 18th of September to Saturday the 20th of September. With offers such as 2 bottles for £5 as well as DJ’s and free entry, we look forward to welcoming students and anyone else who is looking for something a little bit different into the venue.”

He added: “We will also be running a ‘2 free flights to Dublin’ competition, terms and conditions apply. To enter customers just need to scan the Q Code on site and this will also offer them  a 10% discount student offer.”

The venue has also lined up a new weekly over 30’s night with some local legends of the music scene, which looks like they are filling up fast.

Calum addws: “Every Sunday from the 28th September we have teamed up with local favourites Charlie C and David Soul to launch a ‘Soul on Sunday’ over 30’s monthly event. This will be a daytime event from 2pm with loads going on and some classic songs from venues in the city over the years such as Kirklands and the Conti.”
