Halloweenville, one of North West’s biggest and best Halloween events, is now open to the public, with thousands of visitors already set to enjoy this fantastically family-friendly spooky seasonal treat over the next four weeks.

This wonderful experience comes to Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, Warrington from Friday the 3rd of October through to Sunday the 2nd of November 2025. Tickets are now on general sale, for further details and tickets on the Halloweenville website.

The wickedly fun family attraction was due to open its doors on Friday but with Storm Amy bringing strong winds and heavy rain to the region it was decided to postpone its official launch for 48 hours and extra dates were added to cope with the demand.

The experience was formerly known as the Halloween Lakeside Trail and now reimagined for 2025, Halloweenville has transformed the picturesque 70-acre site nestled in the idyllic Cheshire countryside into an enchanted land where you can fully immerse yourself in all things weird, wonderful and witchy.

This year’s theme takes visitors ‘underwater’ to the haunting depths of the Gold Lake where ghostly sea creatures, sunken secrets and the skeleton pirates spring thrillingly to life.

The amazing attraction is delightfully spooky rather than jump-out-of-your-skin scary and promises visitors of all ages a truly memorable Halloween adventure as they follow the quest – collecting glimmering treasures along the way before earning a place at the memorably magical Skeleton Crew Pirate Party.

As part of Halloweenville there is also live music in the Trick or Treat Tavern, creating the perfect atmosphere for an enchanting evening.

Toast marshmallows or enjoy a delicious hot chocolate, spiced pumpkin latte or creepy cocktail and savour tasty treats from a range of food vendors, while the Patridge Café will serve classic hotdogs, burgers and fries.

The event is fun for all ages and is suitable for wheelchairs and prams, with the route a mixture of stone or gravel and woodchip. There is one steeper uphill slope which may require assistance.

Halloweenville runs through until Sunday the 2nd of November 2025 at Partridge Lakes with some timed sessions already having sold out and extra dates added.

Halloweenville Owners, Barbara Ikin and Callum Morgan, said: “We’re absolutely delighted Halloweenville 2025 is finally open. After Storm Amy delayed us for a couple of days, it was such a relief to finally welcome everyone through the gates.”

They added: “We were very lucky that the storm damage was minimal, and looking back, postponing the opening was definitely the right decision for everyone’s safety. Our amazing team of staff and actors worked so hard to get everything ready again, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they pulled together.”

They said: “This year, Halloweenville isn’t just a trail – it’s a full experience. We’ve turned it into a destination with interactive quests that the kids (and adults!) have absolutely loved. It’s been brilliant seeing families get involved and enjoy the atmosphere together.”

They said: “The feedback from our opening night was overwhelmingly positive, and hearing how people enjoyed it means the world to us and makes all the hard work worthwhile.”

They added: “We’ve already sold out quite a few nights, and we’ve added two extra dates to help those who missed out over the weekend. Tickets are going quickly, so if you fancy some spooky fun, now’s the time to book.”
