A chilling mystery unfolds when a young actress suddenly dies on stage during a performance, and Detective Chief Inspector Morse embarks on a gripping investigation.

What begins as a suspicious death inquiry takes a darker turn when the legendary inspector, together with DS Lewis, uncovers a connection to sinister events in his own past, twenty-five years earlier.

Joining Chambers in the iconic role of Morse is actor and rapper Tachia Newall (who played fan favourite, Bolton Smilie, in Waterloo Road in addition to roles in Coronation Street and Doctor Who) as loyal Detective Sergeant Lewis, bringing a fresh dynamic to the beloved detective duo.

'Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts' starring Tom Chambers as Inspector Morse, the actor is known for Father Brown, Strictly Come Dancing, in addition to acting in the tense, gritty and frighteningly good 'Murder In The Dark', which we reviewed at The Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.

The production was written for the stage by Liverpudlian playwright Alma Cullen, one of the original writers on the hugely popular British TV Series, 'Inspector Morse'. Cullen passed away in 2021 at the age of 83, hailing from Prescot in the Borough of Knowsley within the Liverpool City Region. She was also an alumna of the University of Liverpool, where she studied English.
