Liverpool City Centre Gardens You Will Love; Here's How To Find Them

Liverpool Gardens That You Can Relax In The Midst Of A Sprawling Urban Metropolis

Liverpool is exceptionally green, with parks and gardens scattered all over the City Region. Here is how to find a few of them in the City Centre.

St. Nicholas Gardens

These wonderful gardens are located in The Commercial District and along The Stand. You can can access them through the steps from The Strand or by walking through the entrance of Church Street.

The gardens are part of the Church of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas that sits proudly on the end corner of Church Street, just opposite The Royal Liver Building and near the Birkenhead Tunnel slip road.

Bixteth Street Gardens

The Gardens in Bixteth Street are also located in The Commercial District. FYI, The Commercial District is in North part of Liverpool City Centre, it essentially begins where Liverpool Town Hall is - follow the skyscrapers, there's a big cluster of them!

The Gardens are just off Tithebarn Street which you can reach through The Strand. It is just behind the Exchange Station Building which is about halfway down Tithebarn Street, it's next to a massive skyscraper called Silk Court, and opposite Silk Court is another tall building called The Tempest Building (which is where we're headquartered!) go down the road opposite The Tempest Building - that's Bixteth Street! There's traffic lights outside so you can cross the busy street safely! Go half way down Bixteth Street and when you reach the Cotton Exchange Building, you've arrived.

The gardens have about 50 mature trees and are home to lots of wildlife like birds and even bats! There's plenty of room to sit and chill out, with lots of benches available, lots of people even have their lunch there! Why not join them?
