EG On The Move has announced the launch of its latest in-store concept, Bill’s Bakery, at its Liverpool City Services site.

The new bakery offer has rolled out to 3 other EG On The Move sites, and the company predicts it will soon be landing on many more forecourts across the group.

Junaid Manjra, Director of Retail & Foodservice, from EG On The Move, spoke more about the new concept, he said: “Our market research told us that our customers in our Liverpool City Services forecourt want a fresh bakery offer with a traditional, hearty range including things like sausage rolls and freshly baked baguettes, but also a decent, quality coffee that they can order and be on their way quickly.”

He added: “So, that’s what we’ve created with our new Bill’s Bakery concept – we’ve focused on exceptional quality, fresh food and a range that appeals to our target group.”

Set up as a value driven offer with no compromise on quality, the hearty in-store bakery offering looks to attract the early morning tradesperson on their way to work, needing a quick breakfast and a decent coffee and maybe grabbing a sandwich for lunch.

Freshly baked baguettes, filled soft rolls, and salad boxes will be prepared daily in store, and a selection of hot food will keep hearty appetites in check.  For those with a sweet tooth, traditional favourites feature on the menu, with Cinnamon Swirls, Belgium Buns and donuts taking centre stage.

The EG On The Move site at Liverpool City Services has employed a team of 11 people from the local area, including the 4 staff members who have recently been recruited for the Bill's Bakery concept.
