Alcedo Care Group Appoints Their New Head Of Marketing For The Liverpool City Region-Based Company

Independently-owned and family-operated Alcedo Care Group has appointed a new Head of Marketing and Group Brand lead.


Jen Allen, from Southport, joins the leading home care specialist to develop the Group’s marketing strategy in line with its business plan and growth objectives and to support the fast-growing company as it expands and launches new specialist business divisions.


She will motivate and manage Alcedo’s marketing team, leading on the planning, development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to enhance the company’s brand presence, highlight its exceptional reputation and leading position as the quality provider of choice.

Her main objective is to ensure all campaigns and communications stay true to the core family values of Alcedo Care Group which has been consistently recognised as one of the Top 20 Large Homecare Groups since it was established more than five years ago.


Commenting on her new role, Jen, said: 'After watching the development of Alcedo Care Group over the last couple of years, and being aware of the company’s great reputation within the sector, I am so pleased to finally join the team and look forward to the challenges ahead.'


Jen added: 'The next six to 12 months will be incredibly exciting for the Group as we expand our complex care division and launch a new specialist mental health offering which need supporting with strategies to enhance brand awareness and attract and retain new customers. I love the company’s focus on family values, only the highest standards of care and its investment and commitment to its employee team.'

Well qualified for her new role, Jen has 25 years’ experience in marketing most recently in the health and social care sector; prior to joining Alcedo she worked for another care company that specialised in the delivery of supported living and residential care schemes across the UK. She has also worked in leisure and tourism at National Museums Liverpool and education at Southport College.


Born in Southport, Jen still lives locally with her partner Jem and daughter Molly. When not working she enjoys going to the theatre, live comedy and good times with family, friends and good food. She also enjoys gardening and has a huge project with the ongoing restoration of their old Victorian house.

The Alcedo Care Services Group now has 20 offices in the North of England and Wales; Birkenhead, Blackburn & Darwen, Blackpool & Fylde, Bury, Chester, Crewe, Lancaster & Wyre, Liverpool (Kirkdale), Liverpool (Speke), Ormskirk, Preston, Southport, South Lakes, St Asaph, St Helens, Trafford, Ulverston, Warrington, Wigan and the Wirral.


The family-owned and operated Group is on track to meet its target of owning and operating 30 branches across the North of England and Wales by the end of 2025.
