Overview:
The Liverpudlian is an independent digital periodical that promotes exceptional unfiltered journalism that covers all perspectives. Please feel free to contact us if you have any reliable information, great news, achievements or if you know of a story that needs to be told right
We believe in producing original, outstanding journalism about the news that matters to Liverpudlian across the Liverpool City Region, we are locals that are producing news and research for locals in a reliable, responsible and informative way that is easy to understand and access. We aim to provide a freely accessible public service for Liverpudlians with no advertisements or paywalls that will detract from our work. Any subscriptions or merchandise purchases are entirely optional and serve as perks for those individuals but not giving an alternative service.
We strive to record as much Liverpudlian news, events and history in the making as possible. From small developments across Liverpool such as timestamping how a particular area of one of the City Centre Districts or Boroughs looks for future or past comparisons for archival purposes, to local shops opening or closing to major issues such as the Mayoral Elections, controversial redevelopment and police incidents, to the construction of the numerous skyscrapers in The Commercial District and the activities of the various City's Borough Councils.

Financing & Ownership Of The Liverpudlian:
The owner of The Liverpudlian, and its digital presence, is local Journalist Peter Eric Lang. The Liverpudlian started out as a personal blog for Peter Eric Lang, a local Liverpool Journalist, and has since been developed into a scalable brand. With it currently being a small website, with a developing reader base, and by the fact that we aim to produce journalism that is to our quality standards and steadily grow a subscriber-based readership, there is no need for us to create 'click-bait' headlines, produce sensationalist content or feature advertisers. We also aim to grow the business at a steady rate in which we actively want to avoid traditional investment. The Liverpudlian is solely funded by its owner and founder, Peter Eric Lang.
Advertising:
The Liverpudlian is run on optional subscriptions by readers in order to sustain its journalism and does not run adverts or sell on any member information to third-parties. We are aiming to build a sustainable future for the periodical in which readers are actively investing in their city by subscribing to The Liverpudlian to help record history in the making and read all the latest news going on across the city's six boroughs.
